Thousands of enthusiastic people are starting home-based businesses every single day, but 99% of those people will lose their motivation and eventually give up, assuming there really is no way to earn a full-time income from the comfort of their own homes. This is an unfortunate situation, but it is not really a surprising one, as nobody really takes the time to learn the real requirements that are needed to achieve success with a home-based business. If you do in fact have a strong desire to start a business from home and work online towards earning a healthy income, then it can be done, but without the right tools to get the job done right, you cannot achieve any sort of real success. There are thousands of “opportunities” out there that promise big income with all of their “tools” and their “support”, but the truth is nothing really works quite like you hoped for, and the reason is simply because nobody will come out and tell you exactly how its done, until now.If you want to build a real business and work it from home, you only need to focus on four pillars for success, they include:1 – Product creation2 – Traffic Building3 – List Building4 – Relationship BuildingLet’s take a closer look at each of these pillars and you will then be empowered with everything you need to build a successful home-based business.1 – Product CreationIf you want to make the most money possible, the plain truth is that you must create your own products. A great way to create in-demand products is to create what are known as “information products”. Find a niche with plenty of hungry buyers and write ebooks, create video courses, and build consulting programs that you can sell for lots of money. Trust me, people are paying big bucks for high quality information and help with their problems.2 – Traffic BuildingThe bottom line is that you have to drive lots of quality traffic to your online business if you want to make money. This is where many people fall short, simply because they don’t know how to do it or they don’t know what to do for results. There are many great ways to drive very targeted leads to your business, article marketing being one of the best ways.3 – List BuildingA list is like a diary of your customers and those who have shown interest in your business, and if you want to make big money, you have to build a list from day one. There are many great ways to build a relatively big list in little time, so find the top ways to drive that traffic and you are well on your way to success.4 – Relationship BuildingIn order to achieve success, you have to build relationships with those who are on your list. Luckily, there are some services called ‘autoresponders’ that will send out emails to everyone on your list in an automated fashion. This is truly a necessary tool in making your business as hands-free as possible and ultimately getting as much business as possible.
Plan To Succeed With Information Product Creation: Why You Need To Split Your Process Up
One of the keys to succeeding in information product creation is to break the process up into discrete steps. This frequently isn’t an instinctive reaction for the typical information marketer. Especially on the internet where small sized learning products are the norm.
However, it is extremely important to your ultimate success. In fact, I would go so far as to say that if you don’t do this you probably won’t succeed… even when you are starting out let alone as you move forward.
Your product creation system should do this for you if only to help you to understand the overall task.
But why?
In this article, I’m going to ignore chunking and focus on the practical aspects. That’s not to say that chunking isn’t important. It is. It’s important to understanding and to learning the process. But while you can use the same chunks as you move forward, long term your focus needs to be on the operation of the system not the understanding of it. Unless of course you are constantly training new people!
So why is chunking important to long term use of the product creation process? (Yes, I know systems design uses a different term for this process but I’m not teaching you systems design. So I’m going to use the word learning content designers use.)
The first reason that having individual discrete tasks is important is one of schedule estimation. Frequently it is very difficult to estimate how long the total task of creating a product will take. After all, the size and type of the products matters as does the number of products in your product funnel. And those are just the most obvious elements. However, estimating a discrete task is often much easier. The total can then be estimated as the total of the discrete tasks.
Secondly, scheduling a large task can be problematic. However, by segmenting the task into a number of discrete tasks, you gain a much greater flexibility in scheduling. Not only that but as your business begins to add people you are able to schedule multiple people to the product creation.
Finally, segmenting a large task into smaller discrete tasks allows you to have much better control over the product creation. This affects two different areas — status and quality.
By segmenting your process into discrete tasks you are able to schedule and record the progress at much more detailed level. As a result you are more in control of the status of the product creation. You know what everyone is doing. When they should complete it. And how much it should cost. You also know exactly what has been done.
You also improve your overall quality. Instead of waiting until everything is done you can check quality as you go. This allows you to immediate react to low quality products without absorbing their costs. This means that you have less rework and your rework costs less. And if the product is not going to meet its quality requirement you will know about it in time to stop the development, change the requirement or fix the product.
The Selection Criterion for an Effective Property Manager
Check past references:
The previous clients of a property manager are the ideal people to offer references regarding a person. This can prove to be an important selection criterion for those who wish to hire effective managers for taking care of their properties. If the previous clients were satisfied by the services provided then there is no reason that the same will not occur in the present case too. At least two former supervisors or employers must be contacted before the selection and proceed. Questions need to be asked regarding the job responsibilities of the person in question, there positive traits along with weaknesses which may prove to be a deterrent in making successful deals.
Delve into personal history:
A property manager needs to be of responsible person with a spotless character. This is a necessary criterion for effective selection because this person needs to deal with myriad financial responsibilities. In such a scenario, any blot on the integrity, including past criminal records can lead to disaster. Therefore, before a manager gets hired take some time to delve into their personal history and find out everything which is worth knowing.
The information regarding the credit history of the person who is being hired as the manager is extremely crucial too. If the personal finances are in a sloppy situation then there is a higher likelihood of financial misdemeanor at a later date.
Go with experience:
Another important selection criterion for finding an effective manager for a specific property management purpose is relevant experience in the field. An experienced professional is always in a better position to handle any situation which crops up. Finding the right tenants who can pay timely rents and even take care of the client property is a difficult proposition indeed. Only a person who has the relevant experience in handling tenants can achieve timely and maximum possible rent collections.
Look for a professional approach:
Property managers who present a professional front while dealing with their clients are always a better choice compared to others. Presentation of a well-developed proposal can indicate towards a competent individual capable of handling difficult affairs. The right image is extremely crucial both in front of the clients as well as the people they need to deal with in their day to day jobs. Therefore, a professional image is an important criterion to look for during the selection of an effective manager.
Go with larger area coverage:
When there is presence of property at varied locations going with property management companies is a much better idea compared to hiring individuals to do the job. After all the reach of a company is always expansive compared to personal clout.
Gauge the dedication to the job:
In the course of conversation with the property manager it is important to gauge the dedication levels towards the job to be assigned. Find out whether they plan to attend the inspection of various properties with the prospective tenants or simply wish to hand over the keys and leave the tenants to their own means. The latter condition can set of a dangerous precedence which may prove to be fateful.
